The company is a respected and well-established IT Recruitment Business that has nearly 15 years experience in placing IT professional across the UK. They have an enviable reputation amongst clients for their “best practice” approach and their ability to deliver. They have an equally enviable reputation amongst recruitment consultants for their impressive client-base, the high commission rates they pay and the quality of training and development that their staff receive. They enjoy a very low staff turnover when compared to the rest of the recruitment industry and are continuing to grow and expand the business.

They are now looking to recruit several ambitious Trainee Recruitment Consultants in Wilmslow.

The Package

  • Trainee Recruitment Consultant starting salary in the range £18,000 to £22,000 with automatic pay-rise on promotion to Recruitment Consultant.
  • Generous and uncapped commission scheme which means that you can expect to earn at least £30K in your first year. In year 2 if you are competent you’ll earn £40-50K, if you’re good you’ll earn £50-100K!
  • Car Allowance on qualification (though you do not need a driving licence to apply for this predominantly office based job).
  • Full programme of team incentives – holiday targets (most recent destination was Monte Carlo), race days, fine dining etc…
  • Full Recruitment Consultant resources - unlimited recruitment advertising LinkedIn Recruiter licences etc…

About you

  • The key requirement for this job is a genuine desire to build a long-term career within the Recruitment Industry. You will be driven, have excellent communications skills and relish the prospect of working in noisy, target-driven sales environment. You won’t be looking for a “9 to 5” job, but rather will be looking to immerse yourself in a career.
  • You don’t need previous recruitment or IT sector experience. However, you will need to demonstrate great communication skills.
  • Experience gained in a previous target-driven business-to-business or business-to-consumer sales role is desirable but not essential.

The role

  • Developing relationships through telephone sales with existing and new clients. Understanding their IT staffing requirements, and advising them on suitable candidate profiles and market trends.
  • Creating your own network of candidates using the very best tools including advertising, job boards, LinkedIn and the company’s internal database.
  • Ensuring the right candidate is put forward for the right role, thus ensuring clients receive the quality service they expect. Overseeing the entire interview process, making placements, achieving your sales targets, earning commission, receiving incentives and having fun!
