They are market leaders in IT, Oil & Gas and Engineering recruitment. They are now seeking 6 talented and ambitious sales people to join their latest intake.

Trainee Recruitment Consultant package

• Starting Basic Salary of £16,000, rising to £20,000
• Market leading uncapped commission scheme (OTE £25K-£30K year 1, £50K+ year 2, then sky’s the limit)

The role

To help you to fulfil your potential as a “top biller”, you’ll receive a 13 week trainee recruitment consultant programme supported by mentoring from a highly successful team of senior consultants and team leaders. From the outset you’ll be developing your own desk as a “business within a business” with activities including:

• Developing relationships through telephone sales with existing and new clients. Understanding their staffing requirements, and advising them on suitable candidate profiles and market trends.
• Creating your own network of candidates using the very best tools including advertising, job boards, professional networking sites and the company’s internal database of 2 million IT and Engineering candidates.
• Ensuring the right candidate is put forward for the right role, thus ensuring clients receive the quality service they expect. Overseeing the entire interview process, making placements, achieving your sales targets, earning commission, receiving incentives and having fun!

To apply for this position you should:

• Have at least 6-12 months sales experience. Whilst Business to Business (B2B) experience is ideal Business to Consumer (B2C) experience will also be considered (Backgrounds of recent trainee recruitment consultants have included advertising / media sales, door-to-door, fund raising, estate agency / property sales / lettings negotiator, financial services sales, mobile phones, debt management, events sales, technical sales, medical sales, pharmaceutical sales, IT sales, Travel Representatives and call centre sales).
• Be a graduate, OR, if non-graduate have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Be motivated, driven to succeed, persuasive and able to sell in a consultative manor.
• Have good rapport building skills and the ability to sustain long term client relationships.
• Be organised and able to manage a complex and varied work-load.
