Recruitment Consultant - Catering / Hospitality / Chefs / Back of House - Birmingham.

Our client is a well established, innovative and rapidly growing recruitment agency providing permanent and temporary staff to the Hospitality, Catering and Leisure sector. They are known for the outstanding levels of service, training and support they provide their workers, and for their ability to deliver to their clients.

The company provides Front of House recruitment (Waiters, Bar tenders, Restaurant and Bar Managers, Conferencing and Banqueting Staff, Sommeliers etc…) and Back of house / Kitchen staff at all levels (Sous Chef, Chef de Parties, Commis Chef, Executive and Head chefs etc…) into restaurants, hotels, stadia, conference centres, cafeterias, wedding venues, public sector organisations, schools and hospitals.

An exciting opportunity now exists for a Recruitment Consultant to join them in Birmingham on a Back of House / Chef Recruitment desk.

The Package

  • Basic Salary in the range £18,000 - £20,000
  • Uncapped commission, without threshold (10% and 15% bands)

The role

  • You will be working with existing accounts from day one. There is no sales / cold calling in the role as business development is done separately.
  • Sourcing and providing chefs on a temporary basis to restaurants, hotels, stadia, conference centres, cafeterias, public sector organisations, wedding venues etc…
  • On-going client liaison - sustaining strong relationships with temporary workers and clients.

Person specification

  • Must have previous recruitment experience ideally on a fast move temporaries market (e.g. hospitality, medical, industrial, social care).
  • Sector knowledge - You will either have chef recruitment experience gained as a Recruitment Consultant or you will have worked as a chef yourself prior to starting in another recruitment sector.
  • You will be capable of attending client meetings.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to deliver to deadlines.
