IT Recruitment Consultant / FinTech Recruitment Consultant - Salary up to £35K + excellent commission

My client is a specialist FinTech & IT Solutions recruitment consultancy based in the city of London, embarking on a period of growth and seeking to hire Recruitment Consultants for their team in London. They have two distinct divisions: FinTech and IT Solutions
The FinTech division has won PSL status with a number of high profiles clients across the UK and Europe. Clients include: Asset Managers, Brokerages, Exchanges, Hedge Funds, HFT's, Software Vendors and Proprietary trading business and continues to add to this extensive client list.
The IT Solutions division is focused on the placement of technologists within the Digital space, clients include - Digital Agencies, Publishing houses, Advertising Agencies, Software Houses and Digital Startups.

The IT infrastructure is second to none, you will use a Cloud based solution that is fast, reliable and the system allows you to work in any location at the click of a button. Consultants have access to: Linkedin Recruiter, CRM (Bullhorn), access to a number of IT job boards such as CWJobs, Jobsite, Monster and CV Library.

The Recruitment Consultant will:

  • Join a warm recruitment desk with a well-stocked list of open vacancies.
  • Assist the management team with the growth of the business
  • Assist with managing existing client relationships
  • Identifying, matching, short listing and interviewing potential candidates for live vacancies
  • Advertising and marketing client vacancies
  • Help senior recruitment consultant establish and build client base
  • Visit client sites with senior recruitment consultant

The Recruitment Consultant will:

  • Hold a degree or be educated to A-Level standard
  • At least 1 year of experience working within a recruitment position
  • Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Be highly motivated
  • Good IT experience - Outlook, Word, Excel, IE
  • Experience of recruitment CRM - We use Bullhorn

They offer a structured career path from Senior Consultant to Principle Consultant with a view to becoming a team leader once targets have been achieved.


  • Salary in the range £21,000 to £35,000 dependent on experience
  • Commission structure: - Based on starters per month (£0.00 to £3,500 - No commission / threshold£3,501 to £15,000 - 20% commission paid to consultant, £15,001 to £25,000 - 25% commission paid to consultant, £25,001 to £30,000 - 30% commission paid to consultant, £30,001 and above - 35% commission paid to consultant)
