Trainee Recruitment consultants receive:

• A starting salary in the range £20,000 to £25,000.
• Completely uncapped commission structure. You’re rewarded directly for the gross profit you bring in. There’s no minimum threshold. So you can earn commission from the first pound. The bigger the profit you bring in, the bigger the percentage you get. You can expect to be doubling your salary by the end of the first year and see it steadily increase from there in the coming years.
• A benefits package including healthcare, pension, company car scheme (or car allowance - though driving licence is not essential for trainees)
• Incentives including days out, sporting events / hospitality, restaurant meals, and city breaks.
• A career path clearly defined from trainee recruitment consultant to director (typically in less than 10 years), based purely on merit.

Recruitment consulting isn’t for everyone. The rewards might be great but it’s hard work and long hours. Above all it is a target driven sales role. A big proportion of your day will be spent engaged in telephone sales, canvassing for business.
