Recruitment Consultant- Macclesfield - Warm Desks - Office Support / Accountancy & Finance / Marketing.

The company is local, independent recruitment agency with over 20 years experience in providing temporary and permanent recruitment to sectors including Office Support, Accounts and Finance, Medical Communications, Sales and Marketing. 

An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced recruitment consultant to join a friendly team in an excellent working environment in Macclesfield Town centre

Recruitment Consultant Package 

  • Salary in the range £20,000 - £26,000 dependent on experience
  • Good commission scheme (30% after threshold) providing genuine OTE of £35,000 - £40,000+ in your first year and £50,000+ in year two.
  • Occupational pension scheme, healthcare and use of a pool car.
  • Holidays rising to 28 days + bank holidays + 2 charity days.

  • 9 – 5.30 working hours with flexibility for family commitments etc… 

The role 

  • 360 degree role in either Finance, Office Support or Sales & Marketing recruitment.
  • You will inherit existing accounts and will have clients, vacancies and candidates from week one - the company has an extensive history in recruitment across Cheshire over the last 15 years with a number of solid accounts.
  • You'll also have the opportunity to grow the desk and develop your business.
  • You’ll be joining a stable, hardworking and successful team that is motivated by results rather than activity targets.
  • This is not a KPI or corporate environment. After a friendly, five minute morning meeting you’ll manage you own workload.

The Person: 

  • Must have experience as a Recruitment Consultant working in a Recruitment Agency
  • You can have 12 months to 12 years+ experience – salary will be commensurate with experience.
  • Experience of general commercial, finance or sales recruitment would be great but applications are welcome from recruitment consultants from other sectors who’d be keen to take on a warm desk opportunity in Macclesfield.
  • You’ll have a good work ethic and be “self managing”.
  • Friendly team player with a mature outlook.
