Description

Our client is an international consultancy business which provides Outsourced Bid Management, Bid Writing and Bid Training to the world's fortune 500 companies. They already offer recruitment of bid professionals to their clients, and are receiving a high demand for these recruitment services. An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced recruitment consultant to join the team and own / build this Bid Recruitment Division.

The role is a "360 degree" recruitment consultant position. You will manage all of the existing requirements, cross sell the Bid Recruitment offering into the consultancy's other Bid clients, and develop new Bid Recruitment opportunities.

Salary and Remuneration

  • Basic salary in the range £25,000 to £40,000 (dependent on experience)
  • Excellent uncapped commission scheme which will provide OTE of double base salary straight away (based on existing business) and which will grow as you develop the division.
  • As you build this new recruitment division you will have profit share opportunity and the opportunity to earn shares in the wider business based on performance.

Responsibilities

  • Recruiting for Bid professionals across a range of existing clients and new customers.
  • Typical job titles include Bid Manager, Bid Writer and Graphic Designer.
  • This is a "candidate-scarce" market so you will be creative in your approach. Many of the candidates you place will be experienced Bid Professionals but you'll also make plenty of placements attracting journalists, procurement professionals and marketing candidates into their first Bid Writing roles.
  • Typical clients include major built environment developers / consultancies, professional services companies, legal firms and technology businesses.
  • Using a range of methods to source candidates including online advertising, job boards and proactive head-hunting / LinkedIn.

Person Specification

  • Recruitment Consultant experience (at least 2 years).
  • Applications are invited from Recruitment Consultants with any sector experience. You don't need to have recruited for Bid professionals but may have recruited for related skills e.g. marketing, creative, business support, procurement, commercial, PMO etc…
  • Your experience can be either permanent or interim recruitment. Your focus in this role will be initially permanent placements, but there is an opportunity to quickly launch the interim recruitment side of the business.
  • A polished approach and good communication skills (both verbal and written) are essential.
