Recruitment Consultant - autonomous role in growing boutique - your choice of desk / market (any technical, white collar or professional services market) - successful, autonomous, "non KPI" environment - good commission without threshold or banding. My client is an established recruitment consultancy in its 5th year of trading operating in a number of niche professional services markets. They have worked hard to build a fantastic reputation with a blue chip client base and have managed to secure their place on the PSL of an enviable list of companies by developing real partnerships based on trust, quality, flexibility, dedication and first class service, working with integrity, transparency and professionalism at all times.

The company has an innovative ethos and structure, and offers an excellent proposition for an experienced recruitment consultant. Currently comprising of eight like-minded business people, everyone in the business is a hands-on biller with a clear focus on their own market sectors including Engineering, Utilities, Power, Aerospace, Defence, Oil & Gas, Rail and IT. They are now seeking recruitment consultants with a proven track record who will thrive in a highly autonomous environment and be self motivated to succeed.

The environment is supportive. The company has consciously stayed away from the KPI driven, high pressure, high turnover ethos of many other Recruitment Agencies.

Other key benefits include:

  • Recruitment Consultant starting salary in the range £20,000 - £32,000 dependent on experience (you can join at Recruitment Consultant, Senior Consultant or Principal level)
  • Flat commission rates of 20% for contract and 15% for permanent from the first pound billed with no thresholds or scaled commission structures. Additional incentives and bonuses based on performance against budgets.
  • Dual desk, so you can choose whether to recruit permanent or contract or both.

About you - Person Specification

  • 12 months+ Recruitment Consultant experience (any vertical market, Permanent, Contract or Dual Desk) into a professional services / white collar / technical recruitment sector.
  • Track record of successful placements / billing
  • Ability to develop new client relationships and sustain them through quality of service of delivery.
