The Person:

You will need to be of a graduate calibre, ambitious with a positive outlook, keen to learn, and a great listener / communicator. Sales experience gained working in a commercial, target driven environment is a must. You will have big career aspirations and be seeking long term career progression. No recruitment Consultant experience required - full training provided.

The Package:

  • Trainee Recruitment Consultant starting salary £20,000 - £25,000 dependent on experience
  • Uncapped commission - realistic to be earning £35,000+ in first year (many new starters exceed this) and £50,000+ in your second year.

The Role:

Following your induction training your duties as an Associate Recruitment Consultant will include:

  • Creating your own network of candidates from a variety of sources including advertising, job boards, professional networking sites and the company's internal database.
  • Developing relationships with existing and new clients, understanding their needs and advising them on suitable candidate profiles and market trends.
  • Ensuring the right candidate is put forward for the right role, thus ensuring clients receive the quality service they expect.
  • Overseeing the entire recruitment cycle including finding candidates, assessing their skills, matching them to the job and the interview process.
  • Acting as a mediator in negotiating with your clients and candidates to secure the placement of your candidate.
