The company is a respected international Recruitment Business with divisions providing IT, Engineering, Finance and Medical recruitment. They employ over 2000 Recruitment Consultants across an international office netwok. An exciting opportunity now exists to manage the successful IT Contract business in Birmingham city centre.

Salary / Remuneration

  • Basic salary in the range £40,000 - £60,000 dependent on experience / level of appointment
  • Team override provides double base salary as on target earnings (e.g. OTE £80,000 - £120,000)
  • Salary guarantees where appropriate (e.g £100K for first 6 months - dependent on current situation).
  • Flexible benefits package including Company Car or Car allowance (£4,000 or £6,000), phone, heath care, pension and share scheme.
  • Agile Working environment - flexible / remote working.

Role Description

  • Inherits a team of 10 Contract IT Recruitment Consultants at a variety of levels.
  • You will develop and increase the business's volumes and profit through people management - daily set-ups, coaching, individual reviews / appraisals, driving effective activities and playing a part in business development and client contact with key accounts.
  • Your success (and remuneration) will be measured against yield, recruitment/retention, profitability and growth in office profit.
  • The role is supported by Business Director, Group Learning and Development and Business Development functions.

About you

  • You will have a track record in a management role within a Recruitment Agency (Divisional Manager, Team Leader, Recruitment Manager, Principal etc…).
  • You will have IT contract recruitment experience.
  • You will have experience of leading a team, with a proven ability to motivate staff to achieve targets, objectives and company incentives.
  • You will be a good people manager - inspiring and influencing staff by demonstrating positive behaviours and performance.
  • Experience of developing succession and managing through team leaders is desirable.
  • Your skills set will include "onboarding" new starters and coaching and training of Recruitment Consultants.
  • You will have commercial and market acumen, strategic thinking and good planning skills with the ability to produce reports and maintain a good understanding of your P & L.
