Description

Manager - IT Contract Recruitment - Global Agency - West End. The company is an international specialist recruitment business. The London office is a highly successful team, placing specialist IT candidates across the UK into markets including Business Intelligence, Change and Transformation, Embedded Systems, Infrastructure, Security and Applications Development.

As a result of promotion and continued growth an exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced IT Recruitment professional to join at Team Leader / Sales Team Manager level to manage a team of Contract IT Recruitment Consultants.

The Package

  • Basic salary £32,000 - £50,000 dependent on experience
  • Generous bonus scheme / team override (double base salary for on target)
  • Excellent personal commission (though this can be a billing or non-billing role dependent on your initial team size)

Role Description

  • Inheriting a successful team of IT Recruitment Consultants (Contract) ranging from Trainee Recruitment Consultant to Senior Consultant. Depending on your experience your team size can be between 4 and 10 to start with.
  • The role can be either billing or non-billing (based on your initial team size)
  • You will lead, manage and develop the team and be accountable for the success of the profit centre through effective people management.
  • You will develop and increase business volume through driving effective activity, business strategy and capable business development.
  • Your success (and remuneration) will be measured against yield, recruitment/retention, profitability and growth in gross profit.

About you

  • You will have a track record in a management role within a Recruitment Agency (Team Leader, Sales Manager, Recruitment Manager, Principal Recruitment Consultant etc…).
  • You will have a background as a consistent billing recruitment consultant with contract experience (IT preferred, however other technical sectors considered e.g. engineering, pharmaceutical etc….)
  • You will have experience of managing a team of at least 4 Recruitment Consultants. Applications are welcome from managers / team leaders who have managed larger teams - package and role will be commensurate.
  • You will have a good understanding of "recruitment process" and be able to motivate staff to achieve targets, objectives and company incentives.
  • Your skills set will include "onboarding" new starters and coaching and training of Recruitment Consultants.
