Recruitment Consultant - Warm desks in IT / Digital Media / Technology - Bristol. "360 degree" Recruitment Consultant or "180 degree" Delivery Consultant roles available.

The company is a global IT Recruitment business employing 300 staff across a network of offices in the UK, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. They offer IT recruitment and IT Consultancy, managing projects for a global client base ranging from technology start-ups to established global technology businesses. They are key players in technology staffing, hosting industry events, social initiatives, and providing a variety of industry awards for best CIO / CTOs, technology start-ups etc…

Salary / Remuneration

  • Basic salary in the range £25,000 - £50,000 - negotiable dependent on experience (appointments can be made from Recruitment Consultant to Principal Recruitment Consultant Level).
  • Excellent commission - 20% flat rate with no threshold, paid monthly.
  • Share options from day one. 50% of the organisation's employees are share holders. The business is privately owned so there is real scope for receiving a significant one-off pay out on take-over, sale or float.
  • Initial Salary / commission guarantees where appropriate.
  • 25 days holidays + bank holidays + 10% of salalry as flexible benefits to spend on pension, healthcare, extra holidays etc...
  • Busy programme of incentives - luncheon clubs, races days, incentive trips, cash prizes etc…

The role / Environment

  • Opportunities exist for both "360 degree" Recruitment Consultant or "180 degree" Delivery Consultant roles.
  • These are warm desk benefiting from large existing client portfolio.
  • "360 degree" Recruitment Consultants will have a Permanent or Contract IT recruitment remit with a choice of either vertical market specialism (Development, Infrastructure, Security, Enterprise, Embedded, Business Intelligence, Management etc…) or generalist remit across markets.
  • "180 Degree" Delivery Consultants will candidate source into a variety of accounts. As well as ongoing delivery of vacancies the role includes ongoing "talent pipelining" of permanent and contract IT candidates.
  • You will take a modern approach to business with all relevant job boards and full LinkedIn Recruiter account. You will use email, technical forums and social media. This certainly is not a cold calling / KPI culture.
  • Office hours 8.30 to 5.00 or 9.00 to 5.30 with full access to systems and phone from home.

Person specification:

  • You will have at least 12 months IT Recruitment experience working in a Recruitment Agency (Applications are invited from Consultants with 12 month to 10 years + experience. Starting salary commensurate with experience).
  • Permanent or Contract IT Recruitment experience from any vertical market or from a more generalist accounts-led role.
  • You will enjoy working in IT recruitment, perhaps working for a competitor, looking for a change of culture without micro-management and an opportunity to work within a respected, privately owned international business.
