European Client Relationship Manager - Life Sciences Recruitment - London / Europe. My client is a highly successful Specialist Recruitment business employing over 500 recruitment consultants across an international office network in Europe, UK and USA. They have global revenues of £200M+ and specialist divisions including Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Medical Devices. An opportunity now exists for an experienced Recruitment Professional to join as European Client Relationship Manager. The role is based in London and covers UK and Europe. The role combines client contact / Account Management for a number of existing key Recruitment accounts / Research Organisations (CROs) along with new Business Development.

Your current role may be an Account Manager, Business Development Manager or Client Relationship Manager. Applications are also welcomed from senior Recruitment Consultants who enjoy the client facing business aspect of their role, and who wish to progress their career within a global plc.

The package:

  • Basic salary in the range £50,000 - £75,000 dependent on experience.
  • Generous quarterly bonus structure providing additional on target earnings of £25,000 to £30,000
  • Flexible benefits package including Company Car or Car allowance / Travel Allowance, laptop, phone heath care, pension and share scheme.

The role:

  • Account Managing several key CRO accounts.
  • Building and refining service structure.
  • Matrix Management.
  • Working with the Delivery Teams, Recruitment Managers, Recruitment Consultants and Executive Search Consultants.
  • Acting as a bridge between the clients (externally) and the recruitment consultants and delivery consultants (internally).
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships through HQ and site visits.
  • Formalising relationships with clients via Service Level Agreements, Contracts etc…
  • Working as part of the international management team.
  • Identifying opportunities to cross-sell / cross-pollinate across locations and business units.

Knowledge & Skills required

  • 5 years recruitment experience with at least 18 months of that within Life Sciences recruitment markets.
  • Previous experience as a Business Development Manager, Client Relationship Manager, Account Manager or Recruitment Consultant within a Recruitment Agency.
  • Credible recruitment knowledge including working on MSP accounts.
  • International International/European Business Development experience.
  • Excellent client-facing skills.
  • Able to demonstrate success in maintaining and growing revenue within recruitment accounts.
