Description

Operating worldwide from their South Manchester head quarters our client is an Executive Search business providing both Search and Selection and Intelligence projects (competitor analysis, new market entry etc...) to many of the world’s top companies.

An exciting opportunity now exists for a graduate with sales / telemarketing / appointment making experience to join the team as a Business Development Executive.

The Package

  • Competitive Salary in the range £18,000 - £25,000 (dependent on experience level)
  • Commission / bonus package providing OTE £30,000 - £35,000
  • 25 days holiday, laptop, blackberry, pension and healthcare (on qualification)

The role

  • Telemarketing / appointment making role to generate meetings (globally) with prospects within target companies.
  • Working closely with the Research team you will identify and approach potential clients and gather intelligence on markets, opportunities and business trends / themes.
  • This is not a “phone bashing” role. Rather, you will take a quality approach to build telephone relationships which in due course will allow you to book a meeting for the Business Development Director.
  • You will receive bonuses based on appointments made, and eventual conversion into successful Search campaigns / Intelligence projects.
  • This is an entry level role into a highly respected international business. In terms of career progression opportunities exist to move into Research / Account Management / Search Delivery or a more senior business development function. Either way you will enjoy a long term career working within a prestigious international client base.

Person specification

  • Graduate
  • Previous success in a telemarketing /  B2B sales / appointment making role.
  • Experience of telesales into HR departments is desirable but not essential.
  • Articulate with the ability to hold high level conversations.
  • Competent in MS Office and using a CRM or similar database.
  • Tenacious, well organised, proactive and seeking to become an expert in a field of business.
