Account Manager - Recruitment - Financial Services - Birmingham. The company is an international specialist recruitment business with revenues of £18M a year in the UK alone. The Birmingham office is a highly successful team, placing specialist candidates into Financial Services roles UK wide. They are key recruitment partners to many of the country's biggest banks and insurance companies and place specialist roles including SAS, Analysts / Analytics, Modelling, Change and Transformation, Risk / Credit and Senior Appointments.

An exciting opportunity exists for an experience recruitment professional as Account Manager to three major retail bank clients. The role is based Birmingham with approximately two days a week travelling to clients sites (London, Bristol, Leeds, Northampton, Coventry).

The Package

  • Basic salary £30,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience
  • Car or car allowance
  • Monthly bonus / commission scheme provides additional £10,000 - £15,000 on target earnings.

Role Description

  • Account Manager for three existing Retail Banking clients.
  • The role is purely client management and does not include resourcing / delivery.
  • Building relationships with Internal Recruiters, line managers and Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) / Managed Service Provider (MSP).
  • Accurate capture of requirements in face-to-face client meetings and over the telephone.
  • Penetration of these accounts to develop further supply opportunities.
  • Communication and follow up to team of seven delivery consultants / recruitment consultants ensure understanding of requirements and delivery.
  • Management of Submitted CV's to ensure they meet job specification requirements, diversity policy etc…
  • Reporting on activity and performance.
  • Managing client expectations on availability of skills, rates, and timeframes for delivery.
  • Work with Recruitment Manager and Recruitment Consultant / Delivery team to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Role will be 3 days a week in the office in Birmingham with two days on client visits (London, Bristol, Leeds, Northampton, Coventry etc…)

Person Specification

  • You will have recruitment experience gained working in a recruitment agency.
  • You will have experience of developing accounts ideally gained in an Account Manager Position. However applications are also welcome from "360 degree" Recruitment Consultants who are looking to move to a purely client managing role and who can demonstrate a track record of sustaining and developing large Accounts.
  • You will have Financial Services / Banking / Insurance sector experience.
  • Good client facing skills.
  • Drivers licence.
